Re: What are you playing?

Been playing modded Morrowind and have just given up, boots of blinding speed pushed me too far, so overpowered. The game is a huge grind so I cannot be bothered with it any more. Still the best ES game though, before the massive decline of Oblivion and then further in Skyrim. Objection! Skyrim is ...

Re: What are you playing?

Xenonauts(essentially released as of today, but not officially for another few weeks. Get it 5 bucks cheaper while you can). Now this is how you make a sequel to something. That something of course being the original x-com: ufo defense. It is so good. So very good. They made it a bit easier to get i...

Re: What are you playing?

By all means pour your passion into a game that you yourself will love, but if you actually want to sell that game, it's probably more sensible to establish whether that game has a market first, rather than discover it doesn't later, and call everyone stupid. We'll see what happens to Age of Decade...

Re: What are you playing?

Eh, I liked the end of the game. Good point on the draw distance mages though. Was the draw distance even that bad in DS1? I never had issues with it, that's about what I can say. Who is the boss that becomes a regular enemy? The frog-like beast? I don't remember that becoming a regular enemy at al...

Re: What are you playing?

Can you not rebind? You could rebind jump on the console version, which is good because they set it up really questionably in the default layout. Not.... really. You can choose it to be "B" or "LS-click". There's no free rebinding of the jump button, and I don't know what LS click even translates t...

I certainly have a youtube account, but I never upload anything. I use it only to subscribe to stuff.

Re: What are you playing?

I've been playing Dark Souls 2. It's not as good as the original. The purest gameplay is a bit more refined, and the porting job is better(controls are still pretty bad though, it's nigh impossible to do jumping and shield breaks with the mouse. At least Ds1 controls were completely functional once ...

Re: What are you playing?

Well, I finished the last journey. The ending was not very satisfying.

I started playing homeworld. This game is hard, since I typically find RTS's easy, I must be doing something wrong.

Re: A mug of Grog, shiver my timbers!

I dunno, if this is a bot it must be from the future or something. I don't think 21st century bots have understood basic grammar and spelling yet, let alone well enough to morph it into pirate.

This is a better pirate song though

Re: What are you playing?

It should be noted that the original fps was just as much if not more about exploring the environment and dodging enemy projectiles as they were about shooting.

Re: What are you playing?

Now the sad thing is that Dragonfall makes the Dead Man's Switch look bad in comparison. It pains me because the original (especially the one-of-a-kind opening) is really well done. I wish we lived in a world where all predecessors were shit in their sequels eyes. I've also been playing the longest...

Re: What are you playing?

I wish they'd make the combat in shadowrun more challenging though. Even on hard, all you have to do is use heal and aim to make basically everything a walkover. One other thing I noticed about Dragonfall which I haven't seen anybody remark upon yet is that being set in Germany, it actually had a ca...
