Re: Critical Errors and win98se and GOTY version of Deus-EX
Hi Tnm lovers, I thought I might end this long and sadly unresolved thread by letting everyone know that TNM is NOT compatible with win98 SE or otherwise and I think only win 2K with SP4 because of the fact that TNM was made with newer vredis++. I have to say that I have been playing TNM on XP SP3 q...

Hi Bugya,
Perhaps you may want to give your problem its own topic as vecuccio and I are not using XP and our problem is (I dont think), related to yours.
you are also more likely to get some attention and especially by other xp users,by having your own topic.
Good Luck !

Re: Can't bind to native class DXOgg.DXOgg
Hello people, I've been reading up on that bloody C+++ library and I found an interesting article..... http://kobyk.wordpress.com/2007/07/20/dynamically-linking-with-msvcrtdll-using-visual-c-2005/ Although, there has been some interesting suggestions by some smart people in this topic.. Re: Invalid Page fault in DXOgg.dll
Hi , thanks for the advice HH. Those lines that you suggested weren't missing from the [Core.System] section. I only mentioned the ones that were missing. I'm staring to think it is a corrupt installer but have absolutely no idea how to remedy that. I am now installing deus-ex again using open gl an...

Re: Invalid Page fault in DXOgg.dll
Hi Hassat Hunter, I didn't quite understand what you meant with, " What packages does your TNM.ini want to load?" My initial problem was related to the sticky with TNM Edit packages ( and as it turned out several of the quite important paths= being missing in my TNM.ini (in TNM System.) Note, I HAVE...

Re: Invalid Page fault in DXOgg.dll
Hi JIm, Thanks for the new Ogg. When loading, it took a long time to tell me, as if it was almost deciding to grace me with being able to play it... Then I got a critical error Can't find file for package "TNM_Core_Tex" History:UObject: : SafeLoad Error <- UObject: : StaticLoadClass<-UGameEngine: :I...

Re: Invalid Page fault in DXOgg.dll
I dunno. Is it possible to change those files from ogg files to a type thats readable and thats compatible with my machine. The files currently play fine in winamp on their own. What a tease to hear those sounds and not be able to play the game! Pity I cant set the path so that the program reads the...

Re: Invalid Page fault in DXOgg.dll
Hi Hassat Hunter, thanks for the advice .
I have 1.02 patch in and I also got the chocobo.zip retro DXOgg .dll version 1.0.0.0. and no luck.
So I put the version 1.0.0.5 back in.

Re: Invalid Page fault in DXOgg.dll
Thanks Jim.
I know I should upgrade but XP still costs over $100 her in Australia and I sort of like my win98se.
I could probably play it on my friends comp., but I am interested to see if its possible to play and what we have to do to fix TNM to get it running.

Invalid Page fault in DXOgg.dll
Hi all, and especially those poor neglected souls who cant play TNM. If anyone has seen my previous problem: Critical Errors and win98se and GOTY version of Deus-EX I have this to go on now: TNM caused an invalid page fault in module DXOGG.DLL at 0177:04fe1fa9. Registers: EAX=00000000 CS=0177 EIP=04...

Re: Critical Errors and win98se and GOTY version of Deus-EX
Hi I did notice that my target in: in my shortcut properties had incorrectly been going to DeusEx\Sytem instead of Deus Ex\TNM.
no difference though.
Also, Should the icon in deusex\ system for tnm.exe be the same icon as deusex.?
