Re: New Vision- Bug Reports

 It works now. Thanks, I saw those before when I was looking to update DX11 but didn't realise that was it #-o Sadly though, the DX10 renderer induces latency and a couple odd graphical issues with the compass and health display, also glass appears quite dark. I just can't win. Guess I...

Re: New Vision- Bug Reports

^I don't even know how to do that, that's how incompetent I am  Another one from the training mission, when looking at a certain angle in a certain spot a small part of the roof disappeared (the black area). http://img153.imageshack.us/img153/3576/shot0004v.png Edit: Actually here's a better ex...

Re: New Vision- Bug Reports

dxdiag says my version is DirectX 11.
Do I need to downgrade or something?

Going off topic a bit here, sorry.

Re: New Vision- Bug Reports

I could be wrong, but it looks like Deus Ex is reverting to software rendering. That certainly isn't DirectX 10. Make sure you have the latest DirectX10 installed, or switch to OpenGL. Ok well, I had Direct 3d 10 renderer selected in the configurations in Kenties .exe but every time I started it up...

Re: New Vision- Bug Reports

Not sure if these are caused by NV, Kenties .exe or the DX10 renderer as I'm having problems with the latter 2 but I noticed a problem. (the low res and crap quality is due to said problems) http://img691.imageshack.us/img691/8020/shot0011w.png http://img148.imageshack.us/img148/6491/shot0012a.png h...

Re: Congratulations, you crazy bastard

Downloading now. 4 years in the making and I'm damn sure it'll be worth it. From everything I've seen it looks incredible. Cannot wait for the DL to finish, and by some miracle my DL speed is <100 KB/s for once! It must know what it's transferring. Anyway, congrats on the release =D> =D> Edit: And n...

Re: Happy birthday to Chris the Cynic

Heh, I looked at the prices, all of them. The Glass and Stainless Steel ones sound very desirable but at approx. $1000 and $1350 respectively, it's a bit much  Anyway, I'm seriously thinking about buying one for Christmas, but I need to save up a bit, er, a lot. I don't want to de-rail your B-d...

Whoa  That's pretty awesome. I doesn't come with instructions on how to solve it by chance does it? I'd love one but I'm hopeless at solving them, I just like making the patterns.

Anyway, sounds like you'll have fun with it. Enjoy :D

Re: Question about the possibility of two tiny mods.

Yeah, I quite like that and wouldn't want to change it but IMO it would be nice if the inventory screen didn't pause when playing on realistic.
I might need to look into basic modding again.

Re: Getting GOTY to run without CD

I have the GotY and I just removed the drive letter so it was like this: CdPath= And it runs fine without the disc. Did the same thing for TNM. Don't know why it wouldn't for you :-k Probably obvious but are you sure it's the right .ini file? One other possibility, you didn't simply add that line in...

Re: July 30

I'm hoping to get through it tonight and start the upload tonight but it's basically a massive pain in the ass. That's great news but don't rush it now. I'd imagine it would be pretty easy to make a simple mistake renaming so many files. Besides, I'm sure people can wait a couple extra days. Either...

Question about the possibility of two tiny mods.

Now, I know that I can't do make/implement these but I'm curious anyway. I was thinking about the Realistic difficulty today and was wondering if it were possible to mod DX so that: 1) Opening the inventory/goals/etc. screens didn't pause the game. (eg. everyone else can still move, you can still be...

Oh I highly doubt that. I can't draw anything. No matter how simple.
I tried but it wouldn't help me identify it and I know what it looks like.

Thanks for trying anyway.

Re: What are you playing?

Well it only cost me AU$20 so I'd say it's worth that but if I had paid the full AU$100 at launch then I'd be disappointed. It could certainly use more polish. Might be worth it too you if you could get it cheap but I guess it depends on the individual  I didn't like the first movie so I didn...
