Re: The Music Thread

Fiddler on the Roof soundtrack. That movie is full of subtle lulz. I love the songs, especially 'Sunrise, Sunset' <----brings a tear to the eye.

I love that hallway, it's so full of win. I ran through it about 12 times, it was that weirdly awesome.

Re: Disney's Steampunk Mickey - A new game by Warren Spector

Nooooo! What has he done to Mickey?! It's become creepy, and uncute, like ground zero at a nuclear test site.
I can so see this game featuring a torture scene with thousands of Mickey's offspring nibbling at some hapless victim's nose...

Trestkon: a mysterious man of many secrets...

Edit: New question! Why did Trestkon leave the forums? I found out he had a relationship with that mad cow, Kylie, but presumably that's not why he left. Can I find out in-game? Do the red biocells have an ulterior purpose like the easter eggs? If I collect 'em all, do I magically turn into some epi...

REPRESENT.

There have been some pretty epic coincidences along these lines in the PDX forums.

Re: What are you playing?

I'm all old-school with my ps1 games: Pandemonium 2 Tekken 3 (the best one) aaaand Tomb Raider 3 Non of this fancy-pants PSP-XBox stuff. Oooh...does anyone remember that game that came out in the 90's? I think it was called Pagan. Another game I just thought of that really reminds me of DX is Blake ...

Re: Are the characters styled upon their real-life counterparts?

Thanks, Bobby, and Chris. I've finally cottoned on to the fact this is where the party is going oooon. Ahem. Mm, yeah I noticed in-game that your character reflects your PDX personality quite well. It could be compared to a fount of wisdom, although knowing about AI's isn't all that wisdom-y. A foun...

Are the characters styled upon their real-life counterparts?

Probably slightly, right? Certain things must be exaggerated for comical-effect, like Jonas' ego...(I'm trying to think of another outrageous yet plausible character...OiNutter?) But is there a grain of truth in some?
