Done. Thanks for the heads-upbjorn98009_91 wrote:Oh never mind. Forgot that Kentie's doesn't show the vanilla paths. Anyway you should remove "New Vision\Maps" from that list if you are running with Revision, cause otherwise it's gonna fuck up things later. Or at least move it below Revision\Maps.

Re: HDTP Beta, Shifter and New Vision
Alright i started playing confident and 2 times in a row this happened: After i got out of the dock, i went left to some boxes. There were some planks. When i broke them the game IMMIDIATELY locked down my mouse and everything. After a while i got an error that i attached. Finally seeing some error...

Re: HDTP Beta, Shifter and New Vision
HDTP character options are config vars, stored in your HDTPUser.ini. All the in-game menu does is let you alter your ini files from within the game, and they do this by calling console commands anyway: you can happily do the same by just writing your own console command, or even just do it manually...

Re: What are you playing?
I saw a really good Let's play for Deus Ex so i had to play it again. Finally fixed it after a few weeks and starting that after that i'll do another TNM rundown, maybe with or without 1.0.5, depends if it even will be out .

Re: HDTP Beta, Shifter and New Vision
So when running without Shifter's files and without "Revision\Shifter" it works as it should in all cases? The EDIT2 scenario should not work/crash since you can't have "Revision\Shifter" as a path and then run with vanilla/non-Shifter DeusEx.u. You say the game crashes when saving near Gunther. Is...

Re: HDTP Beta, Shifter and New Vision
Right now I don't really have the time right now to test and troubleshoot the Shifter issue (real life issues). Please try reverting to 1.8.4 and see if that works; cause if it does then I know it's a 1.9 error. I might have time in a few weeks, but it would help to know if everything works correct...

Re: HDTP Beta, Shifter and New Vision
Just so you know, in case you didn't select the Shifter option in the installer you have to both enable the Revision\Shifter\*.u in Kentie AND copy and overwrite DeusEx.rev found in Revision\Shifter to DeusEx\System. It's all in the manual instructions. But as I said, the compatibility file in Revi...

Re: HDTP Beta, Shifter and New Vision
Tried reversing order and it crashed when saving. Maybe i should do a video so you can see what happens. Looks like it's something with revision. Might not be but i didn't crash before. Are you using Biomod + Shifter 1.8.4? Cause Biomod is not supported yet. Also try downloading the latest Kentie l...

Re: HDTP Beta, Shifter and New Vision
Hi both, Thanks for giving me a hand with this, I really appreciate it! GregP - I did try changing up the load order, but unfortunately no dice. I might try a fresh DeusEx install then install the mods as you suggest, see if it makes any difference. Y|yukichigai - big fan of your work, and thanks f...

Re: HDTP Beta, Shifter and New Vision
Hmm the order the System folders should be loaded is (from top to bottom) Revision\Shifter, Revision\System and then System. That should work with Shifter 1.8.4. Biomod has not been tested (yet). So if it's possible for you to try with that order as well as just using Shifter 1.8.4 it would be grea...

Re: HDTP Beta, Shifter and New Vision
That all depends upon if Shifter actually implements the ini config at all. It could just be loading any HDTP character mesh it finds regardless of checking the ini files. Haven't tried it myself, so don't know how that works. Alright so after a few days i've been digging. It looks like everything ...

Re: HDTP beta
Confirmed here. I've deleted Deus Ex folder from Documents and i've got rid of default.ini as suggested, and the game loads fine, but saving on "specific" places crashes it horribly. So horribly that the log is partially incomplete. Don't know why is this yuki, maybe you could assist us? :) I can t...
