Re: general protection fault on trying to edit DeusExPlayer
Not sure why you get the GPF, however I have a good idea why GameEngineExt is missing. Try and copy Revision's system folder into the root DX folder so the Revision and original System folder merges, that should allow the editor to use all the correct files. Then take the files in the Biomod folder ...

Finally fixed this, I'm super slow. I know.Venom3 wrote:Is it just me, or are the links dead? I just get linked to the homepage of dx-revision.com
If somebody has these offline .chm files of both Tacks Lab and Universal Constructor, I'd be very happy if somebody uploaded it

Re: How to use DirectX9 with ENBSeries in Deus Ex
Alright, can you post DeusEx.log as it is after the crash (it gets overwritten if you start the game again)?

Re: How to use DirectX9 with ENBSeries in Deus Ex
Revision doesn't ship with ENBSeries. Are you trying to make ENBSeries work with Revision or the vanilla game? First make sure you are indeed using D3D9 by going to Settings -> Display -> Rendering Device...

Re: GMDX + Kentie = Blackout?
We had similar problems with Revision and Kentie's. Thing is that we use the convention of the launcher normally looking for Game.ini and GameUser.ini if the launcher is named Game.exe. So if you run it without any parameters and it's called Revision.exe it will look for Revision.ini and RevisionUse...

Re: GMDX + Kentie = Blackout?
You could try and add the -localdata parameter to your GMDX shortcut so it won't use the MyDocuments folder at all, that might resolve some things.

Re: DXOgg .dll Errors?
Veronika: That sounds like you are using my DXOgg.u but the "stock" DXOgg.dll since Revision introduced the CheckFiles function. So basically the .u file is looking for the native CheckFiles function but can't find it since it's not in your .dll. Venom3: Could be a missmatch between .u and .dll. Try...

Re: Replaying Deus Ex - Crash
That looks like a clean shutdown, did you restart the game after the crash? As the log is overwritten each time you start the game.

Re: Stylization vs Detail (continued for the Revision thread
What I'm trying to say, an in-depth analysis is warranted. I think it's even welcomed, so the devs might improve on their initial design. I would welcome an objective in-depth analysis to help us iron out some of the issues people have with Revision (content-wise anyway). I can't promise we will fi...

Re: "Improving Deus Ex's Graphics With Mods" - Any updates?
Thanks for the reply! I did as you wrote and I'm currently running TNM with the DX10 renderer and everything seems to be working just fine, with one exception. In dark places, especially ventilation shafts, I get missing/completely black textures and I don't know why. Example: https://imgur.com/xFy...

Re: HDTP Beta Release 3 Support
HuRen is maintained by G-Flex, Yuki does Shifter. I updated our "Revision customized" versions of HuRen and Shifter (and Biomod) to use the latest stuff. I'm sure it's possible to port without much issue.
