Re: HDTP beta
My Dropbox just got suspended for "generating excessive traffic", which means it does seem people are downloading the HDTP installer build I did. I removed the link, as I need to quit offering it from there (they quit it for me, but still...). If anyone wants to host it, please let me know, and thr...

Re: GMDX: Gameplay Mod. (HDTP Compatible)
Regarding the Bots: Isn't there an unused small bot in the game files? I believe TNM used it on a number of occasions, and even gave it specifically a flamethrower? The bot's design fit the weapon slightly better from what I remember. It also looked less inexpensive. I'm tired and may have completel...

Re: GMDX: Gameplay Mod. (HDTP Compatible)
Have you considered adding grenades to enemies yet? ;) That's still a thing I want to try, even if it's just EMP grenades? It would give more weight to the Energy Shield aug and make sense in certain missions where UNATCO and MJ12 were actively hunting JC (in NYC during the 'Ton raid and the return ...

Re: GMDX: Gameplay Mod. (HDTP Compatible)
Fancy, does that mean I can choose which elements of GMDX to install? Because the videos have made me really want to try some of the changes but I'm not excited about all of them (some seem rather immersion-breaking). Only inasmuch as you can disable GMDX's maps and music changes. https://www.dropb...

Re: GMDX: Gameplay Mod. (HDTP Compatible)
Just downloaded Shifter to test that as well.Cybernetic pig wrote:And why do you have GMDX unchecked?
Wasn't sure if it would work this way with HDTP and Shifter being in their own respective folders instead of sticking the files in the System folder. Turns out it does.

Re: GMDX: Gameplay Mod. (HDTP Compatible)
Couple of screenshots of the new launcher.
Notice you can now select .int files as well and the cool grouping system for folders making it easier to switch between mods.

Re: GMDX: Gameplay Mod. (HDTP Compatible)
Kentie is working on an updated version of his replacement .exe that makes it easier to pick between mods and should allow users to easily switch between .int files as well.
Currently testing it and it's a nice improvement.

Re: GMDX: Gameplay Mod. Final Version Released (HDTP Compati
That would explain why he didn't move for ages! (Well, 30 seconds must have felt like a long time anyway. I'm impatient. ;) That would also explain why he appeared out of nowhere. My argument is, if he has asked to speak to Max Chen directly, why shouldn't JC be allowed to pass? By all means, ...

Re: GMDX: Gameplay Mod. Final Version Released (HDTP Compati
I've only just got to Hong Kong; why does the DTS have laser sight...? EDIT: Also, why is their a Triad bouncer in the doorway behind the Lucky Money bar to get down to Max Chen? I think he appeared after I selected the 'Maggie Chow sent me' Option when I asked Issac where I could find Max Chen. It ...

Wasn't sure if they meant Deus Ex or TNM.
I only asked because if they aren't, I suggest they do!

Re: Adjusting the brightness doesn't "stick"?
Are you using Kentie's launcher?
Also, what renderer are you using? Direct3D/OpenGL/DirectX9/DirectX10?
