Re: It's done.
You realise that when you say it needs to be redone..it's not going to be? New Vision 1.5 was final, I'm done with the project now.

Re: What are you playing?
Decided to buy the Deus Ex games (I already had HR, just needed the original and IW) so I don't have to manually re-install them each time I want to play them. Pretty cool that 2 out of the 3 news stories on the Deus Ex page are about New Vision

Re: Map Requests
The ones included in NV are all based on the newer (non-1112f) maps.

Re: What are you playing?
Spec Ops : The Line, while being pretty cool, was massively overrated IMO. I really liked it because I downloaded it completely blind - I saw the name and tried it because I remember the early Spec Ops games from when I was a kid. So anything above the standard Call of Duty fare I was expecting from...

Re: What are you playing?
10 hours eh? I've spent at least 20 on it so far. Too bad UPlay (eww) doesn't seem to keep track of how long I've played for. Or, I mean, I'm fairly sure it does, but I can't find the number anywhere. Well, yeah I probably spent about 20 hours on it - 10 hours was a guess at how long the story miss...

Re: What are you playing?
Maybe if they hadn't spent a lot of time making multiplayer ui the singleplayer gui wouldn't be so bad. But the biggest resource hog in MP would probably be testing and maps, neither of which Far cry3 seems to lack. Yeah - clearly all the time was spent on multiplayer and the singleplayer was just ...

Ironically, being drunk is a prerequisite to working in the Pixologic UI department.Phasmatis wrote:Happy Christmas, I got Zbrush and a little drunk!

Trying to play Miasmata. Trying.
This is why I hate custom engines. Use UDK or CryEngine, for christ's sake - even Unity would be better than this.

Re: What are you playing?
I acquired Gunman Chronicles and am now applying the steam compatibility patch as we speak. I tried playing it before but hardware issues. EDIT: Never mind. Nothing surrounding this game seems to work. Ha, I remember trying to play that a couple of years ago and my god - it's awful . I'm not sure I...

Seriously, I told you to read this blog before and yet you're still supporting these flawed arguments. It seems like you're just repeating typical pro-gun arguments without a care for factual accuracy.VectorM wrote:http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cUzfPm7LoEA

Re: It's done.
@Morpheus 1 - I'm pretty sure that should've been done. Weird. 2 - I didn't bother with that machine, it would be a massive pain in the ass due to all the different intricate tech textures, and it's only used one. I did update some of the yellow textures used in Area51, but, yeah - some of them migh...

Re: Vote for New Vision mod @ Moddb only 3 days left to vote
Hey, cool - I don't have to pester people to vote myself :D Would be cool to see how far I could get, but there's a lot of mods with a very entrenched community that NV doesn't have in the same way (since it's not the kind of thing that happens with a texture update project - only original mods get ...

Re: New Vision beta release - download inside!
So..er, you want a torrent link for the 2009 beta? Or the current release? There wasn't one for the beta, there is one for the 1.0 release last year, and there isn't for the current release. And I don't have the files for the beta / 1.0 release anymore, and I deleted them from ModDB since no one sho...

Re: It's done.
Hm..well, the reason a few textures are like that is a trick I pulled in order to reduce repetition in the textures. There's not many of them, but it shouldn't be causing that.
