Re: Package.HDTPanim.Effects (again)
OK, so I changed the core part of the TNM.ini to this: [Core.System] PurgeCacheDays=0 SavePath=..\TNM\Save CachePath=..\Cache Paths=..\TNM\System\*.u Paths=..\TNM\Textures\*.utx Paths=..\HDTP\System\*.u Paths=..\HDTP\Textures\*.utx Paths=..\TNM\Maps\*.dx Paths=..\TNM\Sounds\*.uax Paths=..\Textures\*...

Package.HDTPanim.Effects (again)
I recently installed a clean install of TNM (except the TNMUser.ini which had my easter eggs in it which I copied over after the install). I installed the 1.0.4+ patch and again, this time I can't sort it, I am getting the error when I start the game from the shortcut "Can't find file in Package.HDT...

Re: Deus Ex: Human Renovation (fan patch/mod)
Under what circumstances did you end up with anomalous health in the detention center? I know the game checks your health and sets your body parts to 50% health if they're below that, but if that screws up sometimes, I'd definitely want to fix it. Its been a long time since I played it, but I remem...

Re: Deus Ex: Human Renovation (fan patch/mod)
Just one small consideration: might it be worth to release a version without the most painful to code changes to have some feedback and perhaps find new motivation? I would, but some of that stuff is already partly implemented. Basically, I'm in too deep to stop now. Anyway, here's a pastebin with ...

Re: Some old DXEditing code I found
I found this bot code by TheSheep and DDL. I think I tested this a very long time ago. I think its a robot that is supposed to deflect incoming rockets. I also think its supposed to turn the rocket around and have it return towards the player who fired the rocket. I am not sure if its the same code ...

Re: Where do you learn to speak English like Phasmatis?
What part of Britain would I have to drop by to pick up that beautiful, intelligent, amazingly sophisticated yet totally not pompous accent? The closest accent I could think of is the same (or very similar accent) to the one they have in Chester in the North-West (borders Wales) which is close to t...

Re: Some old posted DXEditing code I found
Some more code here, this is also by TheSheep, its a light you can turn on and off (mainly for use on a weapon), but it works in place of a laser and to get it to work, you have to make sure you set on your custom weapon bhaslaser=true or it won't work: var bool bTorchOn; replication { reliable if(R...

Some old DXEditing code I found
I probably have more, and I'll look for it when I have a free moment, but thought this may be useful to someone. I found some old DXEditing stuff I saved on my external HDD when DXEditing was still going (this code is from 2005). This first one was by DDL and its code for random weapon damage betwee...

Re: Deus Ex Physics
Can't help exactly, but I wondered (have not coded in so long, so not sure) if physics could be scripted, i.e. when you throw an object (or hit it in your case) you could script the object to rotate the way you wanted it to by adjusting its pitch, roll, yaw etc...it wouldn't be realistic but it coul...

Re: What are you playing?
I have not played games in a while as I am too busy with other stuff, but was replaying Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 4 on PC, which I have not played in years, but I can't remember how to do a trick like a Heelflip Varial Lein which has the ↘ symbol? When I press the down arrow and the right arrow to do a...

Can't find file for package in file 'Package.HDTPanim.Effect
I remember getting this error before, but haven't played Deus Ex in a while, but when I go to load any mod with full HDTP I get Can't find file for package in file 'Package.HDTPanim.Effects' even though I have everything referenced and all HDTP U files in EditPaclages in ini file. This is part of th...

Re: What are you playing?
Been really busy lately, but when I had some free time, I have been playing Tony Hawks Pro Skater 2 and 3. Know they are old but still good for what they are. Have not played them for a long time, so thought I would. That and Deus Ex with HDTP and NV DX10 render, from the very start as I have not pl...
