Re: GMDX MWM Post Discussion Feature List

Okay, it feels like we are running in circles here.

I am not sure I understand how CP would want to store the detachable scope? Not back to the inventory, that much I understand... How would it work then?

Re: Mortecha's Weapon Mod Discussion

Do you think the mini crossbow is illogical? And if so have you thought about making it a full sized crossbow instead. The minicrossbow is iconic and I do not find it illogical. Another thing regarding this is have you considered making head shots with tranq darts lethal? Personally, I would not li...

Re: Mortecha's Weapon Mod Discussion

Another alternative is to remove the GEP guidance system altogether. Wouldn't mind that; I never found it particularly useful and it always felt more like a novelty feature taken from Invisible War. The laser guiding on the other hand, I do like, and find more useful and practical for most situatio...

Re: Mortecha's Weapon Mod Discussion

I am in favor of option 1, purely because it's simpler. You take a scope off and the user would expect it appear in the inventory (if there's enough space), were they can then choose to either discard it if they have no need for it or attach it to another weapon. This would provide another factor i...

Re: Mortecha's Weapon Mod Discussion

Personally, I like Mortecha's and MadeInChina's idea of having one scope mod that works differently when installed on different guns. I know it is not realistic but since CP has always maintained that gameplay must be privileged, I think this could still be implemented.

Re: Mortecha's Weapon Mod

I trust this cooperation is not destroyed because the protagonists are two intelligent people.

I trust they will find common ground to the satisfaction of both parties.

Re: GMDXv9.0 Announced

Cybernetic Pig, would you mind giving us some details about your current work on GMDX v9.0? We know you are in need of animators and graphical artists in order to further improve the visual quality of the game and we know you are more or less dependent on them delivering what they committed themselv...

Isn't Bird already working on one?

Your time might be better spent in the art department... ;)

Re: Deus Ex 1 Speedrunning thread

GMDX made a great improvement. Shooting LAM's cause them to explode. That's uh... Exactly what I said. And I never said it was a bad improvement. Just saying tho :) It's better to drop a lam from your inventory and shoot it rather than throwing it a npcs ;) If that is true, I'd say we have a proble...

Re: GMDXv9.0 Announced

I don't think a napalm grenade is necessary, I think the fire based weapons are dangerous and common enough already, if anything I feel flame damage should be nerfed a touch. I do think there needs to be more grenades for the demolitions expert playstyles though, maybe not necessarily explosives bu...

Re: GMDXv9.0 Announced

My two cents is that it is not really needed nor is it worth the trouble to introduce it.

The obvious risk is that you will regret it like you did for other new weapons which were subsequently removed from GMDX.

Re: GMDX Art Thread

A correction to be made to New Vision. The sign outside the UNATCO HQ in Liberty Island has a misspelling error: "IISLAND".

It was reported in 2012 and never fixed: http://s907.photobucket.com/user/rolati ... d.jpg.html

Re: GMDXv9.0 Announced

I'm happy with the medbots as they are: infinite use on lower difficulties, two shots and out on higher difficulties. It's that way for a very specific reason. Health should be finite and systems that recharge over time are always open to abuse. About this, I would welcome a more gradual system rem...

Re: GMDXv9.0 Announced

Salk, there are a few gameplay mechanics that haven't been perfected even though they existed for a long time - swimming and ladder climbing are prime examples of those mechanics. Agreed. Furthermore, some of the earliest examples of ladder climbing are still valid for some games today, further len...
