It would be incredibly cool for the people behind this mod, if you'd write something about TNM in your blog. Maybe just a short mention of the mod and a link to the website, if you don't have the time for anything else. I guess that would be the greatest thing ever for them.

Actually the greatest thing ever would be a little feedback in any form. We've done our best to adhere to your and Harvey's design principles in making TNM, it's almost been a 7 year study in the design of Deus Ex, and if we could have the original creator's thoughts on where we succeeded and where we failed, that would be extremely educational.

For those people who feel that your concept is too far out there, too meta, too whatever they think it is, I have proposed a response. Because everyone cannot be on IRC when I'm being nuts I shall repeat it here:

Imagine a game where you are engaged in an epic war against the bugs (think Starship Troopers*) as a beta tester. (Beta tester instead of dev because then truly sneaky bugs could pass themselves off as features.) Journey into the depths of the game, and battle the insidious bugs until none remain and the integrity of the construct is maintained.

Go, someone, and build this game.

*Either the book or the movie will do, but they will result in drastically different final products.

Well last time I heard we'd had over 4000 downloads. Assuming most of those people actually installed the mod, I think we can safely say more than 30 people have recently reinstalled Deus Ex.

And judging from certain comments in different forums around the web, it seems quite a few people have also recently bought Deus Ex for the first time.
