Ok, aside from a short stint of activity lately other things happening with me are preventing me from doing all that much on the project. So, I'm going to post around a few places to see if we can get other texture artists on board. It's something I'm hesitant to do because of overlapping textures and trying to keep the art style consistent, but I think it's far more important just to get the bloody thing finished than worry about some textures looking slightly different.

We're not dead though! Lack of screenshots is because Deus Ex's version of UnrealEd doesn't work with Vista and I haven't bothered to install Unreal Tournament yet (UnrealEd2 does work with some .ini editing I think).

Perhaps you should provide a description of the visual style your looking for, along with some examples of your work.
Combined with a tutorial for how one goes about making a replacement level texture for Deus Ex, and how to get correct tiling...
You could also set up a submission and review process, where by you or any designated moderators check over every submission to make sure its:
A: Good enough.
B: Adheres to the overall style of your work.

Frankly I don't care about the style of work, as long as it's high resolution. Current screenshots show my 'style'. As far as replacement goes, the way we're doing it at the moment isn't how it's going to be done in the end so that's kind of useless.

UnrealEd works for me on vista 32, you might just need some ocx files or something.

Hi, I'd like to help making textures for this project. I am not very good at coding/ 3D modelling but I would like to help out with texturing. I am not VERY experienced but I am a little. Maybe I can help out

Good thing we don't need coders or 3d modellers then (there's only a couple textures that need 3d models, and I can handle that).

Send some examples to my e-mail and I'll take a look.
