Secret bonus maps?

Secret bonus maps?
Hey, I heard there are secret bonus maps in TNM, but during my several playthroughs I have never found any of them. Do they seem to be as hard to find or even harder than the Narcissus events? I heard there is a hidden MJ12 base in Goat City, is this true?
I bet this is quite noobish to ask this, but could someone tell me where to find some of these "secret bonus maps"? I felt ashamed when I heard about them and had never found any of them ...
So, guys, could you tell me some of their locations?

Re: Secret bonus maps?
Uhm, did you get told about these secret bases and maps on the 1st of April?
Sensible answer: No bonus maps or secret bases exist.

Uh, I'm not sure when I heard about the maps 1st...
It's weird that there're no secret maps, as it says on thenamelessmod.com something about secret maps
Or maybe I just misunderstood.
Well, thanks for the info

Re: Secret bonus maps?
But this still bothers me a little.
On thenamelessmod.com->"about tnm" it says:
Play through 59 levels of engaging gameplay, plus a new tutorial, and even secret bonus maps just waiting for you to find them
Confusing...

Re: Secret bonus maps?
It's probably talking about the "Radish Adventure" maps.
Can somebody tell me how I can get a custom avatar?
Oh wait, I already got one...

Re: Secret bonus maps?
I suppose it wouldn't be the sewers, since they're optional in a PDX playthrough I mean?

Re: Secret bonus maps?
Yeah that would be about the Radish Adventure.
MJ12 base in the Goat City is a cool rumour, though I'm afraid it's not true. There are some solid secrets in Goat City, including some underground areas, but they're not separate maps. It could also refer to the server complex I guess, but you'd visit that on a normal playthrough (although you have to play both storylines to see all of it).

Re: Secret bonus maps?
Ah, Radish Adventure, that one, it's really cool
I can't say I'm disappointed or anything, but it would've been cool to see "secret maps". Well I also can't say there aren't enough cool things in TNM to explore .
Well, thanks for the replies guys!

With a community mod like TNM, I expected secrets and vague jokes and comedy references everywhere. There really wasn't. There was much more comedy, which is something commercial games are missing, but the "secret-maps" felt more like secrets than linear maps (eg. the obese karkian's lair), and the hidden things were open secrets. I remember expecting to meet a Mr. M Python in a large gray doorless room filled with a thousand flaming plantpots. Didn't happen. TNM is a big world, so keep exploring, but if you see many more secrets than the Narcissus endings then you've seen more than me, and I'm really old.

Re: Secret bonus maps?
I remember wanting to create far more secrets and hidden tip of the hat areas...
Re: Secret bonus maps?
Sorry for late reply ZP!
I'd love it if you made some "secret" maps! It's great if they're crazy as I like crazy maps.
I've spent many hours in TNM (although not in a long time now) but I'm a bit bored now. Crazy maps would be a great refresh!
Have you already made some your own maps I could wander in? If yes, I'd love to check them out!
I'm going to make a crazy map in fact too, it's actually gonna be a TNM mod but I'm not sure how big it will be. I don't know a thing about UnrealEd - yet. Soon (maybe in summer holiday) I'll start to practise using the ed and yeah.

Re: Secret bonus maps?
I'm afraid that asking a TNM developer to add anything to the mod now is like barfing garlic cheese-toast on a vampire.
I hate it when games have secrets I can't find. I paid the full download price for TNM so I don't want to miss anything. Still, if you get good in unrealed Onemaster, you could add some kickass refefreshing secrets to TNM -- it's a big world with a lot of modding potential.

Re: Secret bonus maps?
I need to get that unreal editor working myself, unfortunatly I'm not the shaping artistic type, more of a coder (don't even know deus ex code so I guess it doesn't matter, lol)
I'm too cool for a signature, that's my signature
Re: Secret bonus maps?
I have same question.
