Is this a bug?

In the sewers, theres a room with a dead guy on the ground and the warning "darger: hot" and you can see it's full of steam. On that room there's a door to an elevator shaft that leads to a secret room below. Thing is, while you're in the room with the steam, you're constantly taking damage but when you get to the secret room below, through the elevator shaft, you're still taking damage. I don't think you're supposed to take damage in that secret room, if I'm wrong, can you explain why it happens?

Yes, sorry, that's supposed to happen, but there's supposed to be steam down the elevator shaft too - will be fixed. I'll also reduce the damage.

Yeah, It's almost impossible to explore the room because you die almost instantly. The environment hazard aug and the hazard suit both don't prevent the damage so you have to use a medkit every 5 seconds

[Mr. Poppalopolis]

If you use a fire extinguisher and spray yourself, you don't take damage for a while.

Just a little hint for exploring down there, although I'm not sure that room serves any purpose.
