Chances of a Complete walkthrough

Post by Agent_Kyramud »

I'm just wondering what the chances of someone on TNM dev team writing a complete walkthrough or even a guide that includes all the items, easter eggs, datacubes, eye candy, etc. based on campaign.

Also an official walkthrough would be too spoilertastic. For some reason I don't like the idea of thoroughly describing every last nook and cranny and hidden item and secret easter egg in TNM. If one of the players do a walkthrough, there's still a distinct possibility that something was missed or left out. If I go and write the complete guide to TNM, it's like the game is practically dead - there's nothing left to find or explore, the mystery is gone. Even after nine years, Deus Ex may still have something nobody has found yet - we have no way to know. If Harvey Smith had written a full walkthrough of the game including all its secrets and options, we'd know that's all there is to it.

That'd be cool. I think I'd enjoy reading that :)

I agree with Jonas, it takes the fun out of finding the secrets if the devs have already publicly revealed them.
And from what I've encountered so far TNM has some fairly fun to find secrets.
