HUD and render issues

Post by PlausibleSarge »

EDIT: THIS PROBLEM IS SOLVED. SEE NEXT POST

I have a weird problem whereby the menu is completely black and most of the maps are way too bright. Please see the following screenshots.

I have reinstalled the mod (and deus ex) with a fresh install 4 times, to no avail

Here is my HUD. I don't think the map is supposed to be that bright either, because it makes all the shadows look weird and wrong

Here's what happens when I open my inventory screen

Here's the character set up screen. Also note that the background lags like crazy, but thats not game breaking so I will leave it

Here is the main menu in all its glory

Please note that I am using Kentie's DX10 Renderer, but get the same issue on Dx9 (ENB) and Chris's Enhanced OpenGL too.
I am also using Kenties Deus Exe, if that matters.
And HDTP, but TNM is supposed to be compatible with it anyway.

Here is my TNM INI file:

Code: Select all

No longer needed. Was unrelated to the solution

I FIXED THE ISSUE

To anyone who gets the same issues:

Edit your user.ini for TNM and replace

MenuThemeName=Default
HUDThemeName=Default

with

MenuThemeName=TNM
HUDThemeName=TNM

as for the overbrightness, well it went away on its own when I switched back and forth between renderers

Cool. :)
Glad you sorted it. Welcome to the forums. :mrgreen:
The real trouble with reality is that there's no background music.
