Please only use this forum for problems of a technical nature. If you're stuck somewhere in the game, post in the TNM Spoiler Zone forum. If the game crashes, you can't load a savegame, or something just plain isn't working, this is the place to post.

 Cant load the game Hi, ive just to my shame found out about this mod and installed it today. Ive had to install the 1.04 patch so my version of deus ex would run TNM. Ive installed TNM and i just cant get it to run, it starts i get music but the screen is just black with a white moving box on it and then it just freezes with the music stuill playing. Then as soon as i left click with the mouse it crashes and spits out this error any help with this will be greatly appreciated cheers

Re: Cant load the game Hiya, that looks like a classic render issue. If you're running the game with the D3D renderer switch to the OpenGL renderer, or, naturally, the other way round.

Re: Cant load the game Hi, i tried what you suggested but to no avail, it did the exact same thing
The game was set up to run off the D3D so i switched it to open GL and it did the same thing, black screen, white box, moving about then crash.
Heres me system info if it helps
Windows Vista Home premium SP2
Dual core processor 1.8GHz
2gig ram
Graphic card ATI radeon 1500x series
Would a complete uninstall and reinstall of both programs help? (and would i need to wipe my save games?

Re: Cant load the game Erm, unfortunately it may be your video card that's the problem, as in not capable of rendering correctly. Are you on a notebook? Before you uninstall etcetera, a more clever person than I might be able to suggest a fix.

Re: Cant load the game Hey just a quick question, how did you change the renderer? Doing it through the menu doesn't work, you have to edit the ini. There are thorough instructions for this in the Troubleshooting section of the PDF manual

Re: Cant load the game Thanks for the help, got it working now, id changed the deus ex settings  , didnt realsise about the TNM ini file cheers  and so ends my free time
