Choosing a renderer.

Post by psikoticsilver »

Hey there!

I just wanted to ask if it made a big difference if I used to OpenGL renderer or the DX9 renderer. I'm assuming the two are equal in quality and I would have to enable ST3C functionality, yes?

PS, you might want to sticky the answer!

We haven't tested the DX9 renderer, but I would think it'd work as well as the OGL renderer. If you want to be on the safe side, go with OGL, if you're feeling adventurous (or experiencing graphical glitches with OGL), go with DX9.
