I don't remember, if it was the same in Vanilla DX, but:

What do I do about disabled bots blocking my way?
Especially Spider bots in ventilation shafts are annoying.

I had this problem in the sewers when I chucked an EMP grenade at some spider bots and one of them got hit right on top of a nanokey, making it impossible to get to it. You need to blow it up, but at that point I didn't have any explosives so a combination of jumping on it and throwing my assault rifle at it was needed for it to eventually explode.

Or if you have the nanosword or a katana or something, that works too.
