Yeah, and we should all weep for this every day. At least Obsidian has made some effort to move away from this :)
In conclusion; Obsidian are more innovative than BioWare :P

Really? I was kinda hoping AP would be more of an action game than Mass Effect.
Actually to be honest I'm just hoping AP will be more Deus Ex than Mass Effect (this can be read in two ways, and I mean it both ways).
How can you get more action than mass effect? It was just combat and then occasionally mixed with some very bland dialogue. AP seems to take more of a "hub" based structure though, were you have noncombat/dialogue/preperation before each mission and then just action on the mission. But yeah, hopefully it will be as good as Deus Ex, thought I doubt it.

Man, do I really have to explain all over again how KOTOR2 is basically Torment in the Star Wars universe?

By removing the RPG elements a bit further from the combat mechanics and fixing the lack of feedback during firefights. Looks like BioWare has done that for Mass Effect 2 though, judging from the videos.

Of course it won't be as good as Deus Ex, but maybe it'll get close enough to rock our socks off.

My point still stands, better to retell a story once in a new setting, than once for every setting :)

True, but that isn't really the case, now is it?

Well narrative isn't the primary pillar of Fallout 3 or Halo 3 (structure and core gameplay, respectively), whereas it definitely is for any BioWare game. They may claim they give equal attention to the three pillars of narrative, gameplay, and graphics, but we all know their primary objective is to tell a good story. I doubt those impressive scores for KOTOR and Jade Empire were given for the gameplay or the graphics...

This is getting way out of hand :) now you think we should discuss what other people think? And if the scores were lower, I might agree with you, but all those scores are approaching perfection (10/10) And you can't get that close to perfection without being good in most aspects and awesome in some.

Why not? The games looked pretty impressive and had decent gameplay, and since most reviewers will review the console version it's like an auto bonus of +30 to the score because they(console tards :P) have no idea what an awesome RPG constitutes. :).

Why not? Far as I can tell we're done discussing what we think, since we ended up agreeing to disagree.

Sarcasm fail on the internet. :P generally means I am joking or being sarcastic :). Still stand by the previous statement of Console RPG's usually getting a free'r ride than those on the PC though.
