Re: Found a HQ rip of the Deus Ex PS2 Orchestral theme
I'm not sure from listening to this that it's any different than the CD tracks that got released off the original Deus Ex that I have from the newer/current disk I have. There was 30 tracks on this and another 15 I found online in a similar manner to this.
I know comparison-listening two similar tracks is hard, especially since you can't binary compare sound files too well. But I can't say I noticed a lot of difference.

You can compare your tracks with the HD ones using Spek: http://spek.cc/
If you see audio present in different frequencies, then congrats! You found a track containing more data. That data is usually only valuable if it isn't a uniform white noise, but audiophiles will argue that -any- data in -any- range (audible or non-audible) is valuable.

Good to know about that site. But the CD tracks I have here was the same frequency/Mp3 bitrate/everything else. So it was pretty hard to say the link offered here was any better than what I already have.Made in China wrote: If you see audio present in different frequencies, then congrats!
