GMDXv9.0 Release

I've finished the GMDX v.9.0.3 once and have some feedback.

1. the Guided GEP control does not follow my "inverted Y axis" enabled setting and thus unusable for me since I can't control it correctly.
2. I have never seen the new gun UMP / USP in game.
3. The stealth pistol has become semi automatic? I've read the changelog that it should be automatic. Right now it's even slower firing than the regular pistol.
4. PS20 doesn't fire in 2 modes? I don't seem to be able to fire the non-lethal mode.
5. The assault rifle sometimes does not auto reload even when I have the auto reload enabled.

Thanks for the great work. This mod is like what Deus Ex should have been from the first place. I enjoy the game a lot!

Sounds like you're reading an old changelog. Much of that was scrapped.

Please tell me how to enable character models HDTP without 100% passing gmdx 9.0.3 using the start of the game only through kentie launcher?

Or how to unlock the advanced menu GMDX 100% without beating the game?

Hello, Cybernetic pig! I've got a few questions for you, if you please :

Today on moddb I've seen a GMDX v10. So I was about to report about it on the Deus Ex French thread, you know. Almost:

What bugs me it that the uploader's name is not "|Totalitarian|" but a certain "GMDXv10". So:

- is this "GMDX Community Update v10" endorsed by you in any way?

- if not, did these people at least ask for your permission to work on your project?

- as the author of GMDX, what's you take on this subject anyway?

I genuinely love Unreal Gold / Unreal Tournament and their Fan-Made Missions. Would you believe I play them every year with devotion? It started a few years ago with Operation Na Pali and later I enjoyed Project Xephon 2.0 immensly.

So you can sure bet I’ll follow "Unreal Evolution". I’ll probably make a notification about this worthy project on the canardpc the Deus Ex French thread (here) in the near future.

Furthermore I can see you’ve already posted demo videos on moddb and Youtube, hey? Holy Eightball!:

Finally though I love Unreal on a par with Deus Ex, somehow I never truly expressed publicly my utter love for these games, maybe I should have at least made a single thread about them on the the canardpc French site in order to:

- explain why Unreal Gold and Unreal Tournament are so much beloved by long-time fans and newcomers alike. Unsurprisingly when I left out from the Vortex Rikers for the first time, I was literally in awe. And don’t get me started on the stellar level design of Unreal: Bluff Eversmoking, anyone? ^^,

- how to install these campaigns (OldSkool Amp’d utility for UT99 Campaigns,…),

- list and review all the Fan-Made Mission I enjoyed, starting with: Operation Na Pali, Xidia Gold, Seven Bullets, Project Zephon 2.0, Déjà Vu, The Fifth Vortex,The Tower of Shrakith'a,…,

You know what? I’ll think more about it.

Hello. As promised I finally posted the French Guide dedicated to Unreal Gold & Unreal Tournament Single Player Campaigns.

Quite frankly the writing took forever, it's huge, folks. To reword what the Nameless Mod crew said in their post-mortem:

If I'd known what I was getting myself into, I'd have run away screaming.

Not sure if this post will even be noticed at this date, figured I'd try here as well none the less: I know the official v9 ceased receiving updates in 2017. Since then there's been a fork called GMDX v10, I went with it but that was also last updated in 2020. Not seeing a GMDX v11 anywhere. Should we officially conclude this is sadly the end of it and this mod will become frozen in time with the original DeusEx, or is someone still working on and planning to maintain any of its versions? Hoping there is still something alive out there on this.
