Typical high production values... Doesn't appeal to me in the slightest. Also they chose for the extremely generic sci-fi approach which mainly consists of everything being big, shiny and flashy. It's rather like Batman: Arkham Asylum except with more orange. Not at all worth the name Deus Ex.

The inventory looks fairly good though. Enemies look pissweak. Hope every single one of them will be armed with the coverpiercing laserfor the final level(s).

its like what I said a while back, the game looks like Deus Ex up until the point where it pans out to a third person camera.. and then you're entire perception of the game is ruined. I also hope there's no slow mos on the sniper rifle because I HATED that about Fallout New Vegas- first thing I turned off, so if they've done something similar all I have to say is "FAIL" because slow mos suck. The takedowns still look gimicky as fuck. They're lucky the UI actually looks interesting, its a shame though it wreeks of console (ie. it looks very clunky if they did a shit job porting it to a PC).

Voice acting is on the level you'd expect from a Deus Ex game ie. Terrible.. but who cares that was Deus Ex's thing-- if anything it makes it more like Deus Ex lol.

I still hate the fucking orange.

The AI looked as dumb as a brick btw.. (not taking cover). But again so was Deus Ex 1's ai.

I'm really not sure I could bear another 3rd person cover-based shooter, so this is A-OK with me. :)

Looks very bad to me.
I can see lots of references to Invisible War.
3rd persons sucks.
Voice acting is straight from Splinter Cell.
The guns are too shiny and look like crap.
AI is even more terrible than in the original, they'll get confused when you crouch behind cover. Looks like they used some FEAR effects and AI.

The worst thing is that this game is made entirely for consoles, the menus and the turret/robot control is too simplified.
The world doesn't look like Deus Ex, it looks more like an Mass Effect.
All I can say is that this game is even worse than IW was.
Some critics will give it decent score (like 80%, depends how much Square Enix will pay them), but it will soon be forgotten.
Generic modern shooter that combines Mass Effect and Splinter Cell.

Sad but true, Deus Ex is dead.
Bravery is not a function of firepower.
My "Deus Ex - Conspiracy" run on emulator

JC Denton: Neither did I.

Things are looking up then.

I'm inclined to agree with Moonbo. I can't make a judgement on the game until I've played it though.

Mass Effect 2 was complicated enough. I don't want another one of those games. I'd rather have "Shoot and aim" like the first Deus Ex. Where the little decisions you made didn't really incorporate into a big RPG.

Deus Ex was approximately ∞ times more complex than ME2. With absolutely no malice, I reiterate: This is why can't have nice things :(
