thanks in part to Quebec's generous tax credits, which cover nearly 40 percent of production costs.
Stupid Quebec. At least they have their subsidy priorities right.

Hopefully they'll make enough money to get out of the hole before they run out of intellectual property.

I knew DXHR was doing well but I was unaware that well. I hope Thief 4 and Hitman receive the same reception.

Stoked for the DLC next month already.

DX3 seemed very mass-market, with mega-marketing. There's comics and a novel and thirtytwo game editions with DLC planned plus future series iterations and a movie starring Angela Lansbury. For all the criticism, it's made to sell.

Hitman has a formula, and it's playable, so I'm looking forward to playing it more than DX3. I played a couple Thief games once, and in one there was a cathedral or castle where people kept seeing me for instafail, and another with good developer quotes, but I didn't enjoy the game format.

Thiefs are quite a great games, you should try them now.
I think that after System Shock 2 they are the closest thing you can get after DX.
:D

Too much PR for little delivered. With DX:HR off the table (and never coming back) it's time to await Thief 4. Now that I'm looking forward to :D

I love one of the comments on the first article:
Hmmm... "critically-acclaimed" ignores the fact that the title has also been critically criticized by many gamers, including myself
Because this random twit saying he didn't like a bit of it means that it wasn't widely praised. Sort of like some other people I can think of.
