Our school used to block anything that wasn't port 80 or 443 (https) over wifi (to which student laptops connect). Ofcourse, since we can install software on our own laptops, the block was a minor inconvenience and easily worked around.
Then they figured out that they can't stop it anyway and opened up everything.

Hee hee, that guy is so awesome. That whole part of the game is just intensely surreal, I remember first getting really confused by that abducted hobo and then getting killed by... wait, is that ALIENS!? *SPLAT* Ouch.
