Question
Hypothetically, if we were to make an HD remake of Deus Ex, which SDK would be ideal to use? And how large would the game be in terms of file size?
Re: Question
A better question would be, how much time would it take? How many team members? Has it been tried? Even if somehow we managed to find an army of artists to do all this work and they didn't quit because of their real job or personal life, would Square enix allow such a mod?
To answer all of those questions. (imo)Source engine. 7 GB. 10 years. 100. Yes. No.

Re: Question
UDK would be the best engine, since Deus Ex is predominantly closed/interior environments (which rules out CryEngine). And it would probably fit on a dual layer DVD, as most games do, so about 7-8GB.
Re: Question
Another question. It is kinda stupid, and i didn't want to open a new topic just for that and couldn't find were else to put it.
Theoreticaly, could someone put a working net browser inside Deus ex?
