You're not allowed to kill anyone unless you've stood on their head. You're only allowed to use melee weapons and gas grenades.

You'll have to be a ninja, jumping and climbing, dropping down on people from above and melee'ing them.

Well, you can kill walton simons about seven times over (equivalently) with a single DTS hit to the head, so it's not terribly surprising. Headshots == win in DX.

The main issue here is that there are something like...40 shuriken in the entirety of DX.

How about using Shifter/hardcore/smoke?

Those mods certainly add new experiences, and sometimes even create new possibilities for specialty/restriction playthroughs.

As for Vanilla deus ex, lets see... what's an original playthrough idea?...

No arms playthrough?

Only use mundane healing items.(No medkits, Regen, med-bot.)

Carry nothing but a flamethrower, crowbar, and fire extinguishers.

Play the entire game in matrix mode or drunk mode? No, both!

opposite of Jonas'. You can't use computers, keypad codes, or nano keys; you have to always use lockpicks, and multitools. (unless you need to use a code, key, or computer)

It should be possible to complete the game without hacking or multitooling, I think.

Any door that you absolutely NEED to get through, if it's locked will have a key, if it's keypad protected will have a code to find. Most of them that you HAVE to get through aren't pickable or hackable anyway.

Try playing it talking to as few NPCs as possible. I think you have to take part in at least 29 interactive conversations to complete the game.
