If they really hated me it would have been 101 Games for Windows. Thanks, and the same to you.

I see you've played a bit of Outcast, too. One of my favorite games, but it doesn't like XP, can't find the CD. I once had a patch that fixed that, but it was on a computer that is no more, and now I can't find it on the internet (just some rambling by some guy decompiling one of the files and changing jumps on the fly, but that doesn't help me any).

You can add to my list of games I'm currently in the process of playing: Betrayal at Krondor and Crusader: No Regret.

Paul, I know you said no phone messages, but South Street's going up in smoke. We'll have to meet at the subway station.

I knew that if you let a discussion go on, people will start talking about genitalia. Anyways, I'm currently playing:

Vampire The Masquerade Bloodlines
S.T.A.L.K.E.R Shadow of Chernobyl
Mass Effect (well replaying, need to get that Commander Shepard I want to play for ME2)
Left 4 Dead 2
Deus Ex
Research and Development (crazy good HL2 puzzle mod.)

I spent more hours playing Borderlands this time as Roland. I have just finished playthrough 1 and pressed the playthrough 2 option which I didn't playing Mordecai. You get all your cash, items, weapons and skill points from playthrough 1 that you have remaining after the final boss fight, cool.

It is kind of weird starting a new game at level 36 though, but I think they make the game tougher on your second run.

I am currently playing Evil Genius. It is rather good, despite its flaws. I wish there was a "free-play" mode that allowed for some better base planning ahead of time, because right now, my base gets more and more ineffective and stupidly designed every time I unlock something. But I heard you get a new base at some point in the story, so that should alleviate some of that.

I just installed Mass Effect from Steam and things went screwy. I restarted the computer but nothing would load. I tried System Restore with no joy and did the "last time your 'puter wasn't a bag of shit" option which did.
I hope this was just an unfortunate coincidence and there are no conflict issues.

Edit: I get a " This game is currently unavaiable" message when trying to launch. Huh, "verifying game cache" fixed it.

Yeah, Steam sorta did that when I was installing Killing Floor (which is fun for a while, but loses luster). I've heard good things about Mass Effect on the PC, though I wish Bioware would be kind enough to send out some sort of SDK to mess around with. Then I could go about my business with modding Mass Effect six ways from Sunday. :D

At the risk of getting my head bitten off mentioning DLC, Borderlands has an expansion pack on Steam. Yes I did and I'm downloading it now.
