Hahahah, watch out Jonas, don't panic if Trestkon says he's taking you to Valhalla. It's on the western shore of the lake according to that excellent map. lol

This is Maine:

(Though the people in the picture are Canadians.)

As you can see, we, like Texas, have a Paris. Everyone has a Paris. I think there's some rule that if you don't have a city or town named Paris you don't count.

I don't think we have a Paris in Victoria.
Hell, I don't think we have a Paris at all in Australia.

I guess we just suck at naming places.

I had been told there was at least one Paris on every non-Antarctica continent, apparently that is false. Damned French propaganda. (A bit of research implies that they stole the idea from the English who have been trying to convince people there is a London on every continent.)

Apparently, there is a Paris in New Zealand, Google has it available through maps on "Paris, Lilybank, Canterbury, 7999, New Zealand". Unfortunately, it seems to be either a gross mismap, or an uninhabited mountain.

The image appears to be broken, so for anyone who can't see it, it is a signpost in Maine listing the distances to various towns:

Norway 14 MI
Paris 15 MI
Denmark 23 MI
Naples 23 MI
Sweden 25 MI
Poland 27 MI
Mexico 37 MI
China 94 M
Peru 46 MI

Trestkon and Jonas are going on a boating trip out into the lake?

I'm getting images of the Godfather here.
Paul, I know you said no phone messages, but South Street's going up in smoke. We'll have to meet at the subway station.

I am in Toronto!

It is really hot there.

Also it smells like garbage and there are Chinese people everywhere (I am not implying these two things are related).

Choose your crosswalks wisely.

Maybe it was just me, but when I visited Toronto I got the distinct impression that drivers and pedestrians were mortal enemies who had been building up resentful transgressions since the dawn of time.

I find that's what it's like no matter what province you visit.. Actually it's not to safe in my local grocery store either! I almost got run over my some ahole trying to ram me with my grocery cart. Mind you I said out loud that I thought he was rude... literally. He just scurried away... the jerk.

Well I am an experienced bicylist so my mastery of dodging traffic is mostly directly transferable to not getting run over when I'm on foot either.

Last day in Toronto, leaving for Peterborogh tomorrow. Every one of you in north America except Gelo just missed a very rare opportunity to meet me in person. You may regret it for the rest of your lives.
