I have not played games in a while as I am too busy with other stuff, but was replaying Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 4 on PC, which I have not played in years, but I can't remember how to do a trick like a Heelflip Varial Lein which has the symbol? When I press the down arrow and the right arrow to do a trick, I just either stop or turn and don't do any tricks (same for the opposite with the left and down arrows). Anyone know what keys to press to do a trick like this? Can't complete many of the trick goals without these tricks.

I've got stuck into the Kingdom Hearts series again so I'm playing through the whole series.
I was going to play them on my old PS2 but figured I could just use an emulator. It looks so much nicer!
I've even managed to download an .iso for the port/re release they did for the GBA game in the series. That's the one I'm playing now but the battle system is different to the other games as it has also ported the GBA's card battle system.

It just doesn't flow as well because it's so hectic and gets boring extremely quickly. And I'm stuck on a boss fight half way through the game because I'm using my cure and summon cards too early. Rookie mistake.

I do want to play The Nameless Mod again soon, I've missed out on Deus Ex playthrough so far this year!
The real trouble with reality is that there's no background music.

I thought I'd set up the GMDX mod so that I can jump straight in when I'm done with Expeditions: Conquistador. I've got it installed with HDTP and New Vision, naturally, but since the last time I played I have a GPU that's really decent so I thought I'd give DX10 a go this time...wow, it really adds more to the HDTP models of Paul and JC in my opinion.

Anyhow, E: C's Mexico campaign has seen me lose two of my scouts as a result of misfortune (more than mismanagement for once). The two doctors in my squad were out of commission for a couple of camps and couldn't treat two of my favourite combat troops. *sobs*

No, not Iron Man, though I did tweak the customization sliders so maybe I should put them back to default. The latest patch wouldn't have changed the difficulty setting, so I think it was a hard battle (Temple of the Dead) followed by a random event that was the cause. Bad luck of the draw I guess.

I could, but I'm "rolling with the punches" in this playthrough. I went out of my way to get Coyotl to join the party this time as a result of their demise. However I'm siding with, then going to betray, the Aztecs... so I don't know if he'll stick around. :)

Because it came so close to greatness.

-Contextual Jumping and other movement actions.
-Contextual takedowns.
-Minimal interaction and if it's interactive Mr Prompt will let you know.
-Soundtrack is bland.
-Weapon modding and weapon related RPG elements outright bullshit you.
-Bland level design (further ruined by the contextual actions).
-Story is uninteresting, at least the path I took, and you don't even get time to think about the reaction you are giving due to QTE conversations. <_<

Seriously, it still fucking confuses me that these are the same guys who made New Vegas, who took Fallout 3 and did almost everything better. Must have been a different lead designer or something.

Interestingly enough, all of the above is the exact same problems I have with Mass Effect barring QTE conversations and trick RPG elements.

As far as I am concerned, nobody has done third person action RPG "right" yet. Whilst JP TPARGs such as Onimusha: Dawn of Dreams and Final Fantasy: Dirge of Cerberus have better gameplay than the aforementioned games, they too have bland level design and even worse narratives. Well, Onimusha DOD's level design is pretty good but again ruined by contextual actions. The best of the bunch is probably Dark Souls, but no story or soundtrack which is a real bummer. I probably should note Castlevania: Symphony of the Night too, but it's 2D. Still technically a TPARPG though.

I'm with Jaedar on this. It's not a perfect game, but to see it's greatness, in my opinion, you have to replay it a few times making different choices and actions each time.

Sounds identical to Human Revolution to me.
