Hi. I'm running linux mint 21. xfinity's public wifi doesn't seem to be showing up in my list of wifi connections.
I searched the forums, but the only similar post I found was someone who added a new wifi connection, naming their SSID "Xfinity". I tried the same thing but even that didn't show up on my list of wifi connections.
Anyone know how to make linux detect xfinity's public wifi?

Hello! You can reset Xfinity WiFi using the app, just try it

You can reactivate the Xfinity hotspot. An article on Multitechverse about enabling or disabling the Xfinity wifi Home Hotspot feature in an account will help you. In short, go to the Xfinity hotspot page. Log in to your account using your Xfinity ID & password. Click Disable or Enable to disable or enable the public hotspot. Confirm your choice. You can automatically connect to secure Xfinity wifi hotspots as soon as you turn on your phone. To automatically connect to an unsecured public Xfinity wifi, go to Settings > wifi, then select "xfinitywifi" from the list of available networks.
