It's... Nethack as a platformer?

I would describe that as a very small step up from Nethack as ASCII rubbish.

No, it's a platformer that borrows some of the mentality of Nethack, ala permadeath, lots of things kill you, procedurally generated gameworld, etc.

Also all the human sprites have clown noses.

Wow it's like they read my mind to find out what it would take to make the perfect game for me, and then did the exact opposite.

A platform game with permadeath? I'd rather fuck a cactus.

Yeah, I'm knee deep in Frapsing some stuff for my BA project and it keeps giving me shit.

And also I really dislike platformers. Braid excluded (it's more of a puzzle game).

Hey wtf? this looks like a game I worked on at work (like similar concept and graphics) course that was for THQ.. but anyway looks awesome, reminds me of JetPack for some reason.. maybe its the pixelated graphics.

Ahahaha, oh my god I've had so many of these moments, it's not even funny. One time I accidentally hit the shopkeep with a bag of bombs I didn't want to buy, and he shotgunned me to death.
