There's 4 lots of DLC and the General Knoxx rendition is almost a game in itself. I shall cease talking about it.

Crawmerax is an arse for any class other than lilith, tbh.

Though if it gets too horrendous, drop me a line and I could give you a hand with rezzing and/or 'not dying while you take the lift back up'..

Hehehe! I was gonna put Bob the Incompetent remains so, but I doubt if too many would catch the reference.

Cheers, I might give Lilith a go. I have a partial playthrough saved from the previous PC somewhere. My uber-shottie, that kills devastators in 6 shots didn't even leave a scorch mark. :P

I'm currently playing Sniper Elite V2's multiplayer - despite being a buggy mess it's surprisingly fun.

Placing trip mines to cover your position is very rewarding when it works, but I've found it more interesting to kill in more interesting ways. Most maps have two 'bases' each side and people don't really expect you to flank their position on the opposite side, so when you do, you can have all kinds of fun. My personal favourite is placing a land mine next to them, running off and firing at them so they run towards you, blowing themselves up. Or standing on top of them with a pistol aimed at them until they realise and then killing them (teabagging is optional but hilarious.) That one tends to backfire due to latency issues though.

I'd love to play that co-op with you, but my PC died last weekend. I gotta work that out, sorry.

You do - I have no one else to play co-op with! No one really seems to play it, everyone's on Deathmatch (which is fun - but I like the idea of co-op.)

It's really a plague.

If it's not one of thousands of components shitting itself, it's a corrupted boot dll doing us in. I hope it doesn't cost too much to get it up and running again.

I'm leveling Lillith up a bit by playing some Claptrap Robot Revolution before going to T-Bone Junction. She's fast becoming, or more precisely her class, my favorite.

Well I suspect I could get it working if I spent some time with Parted Magic and then ran a new Windows install onto the SSD, but my motherboard and CPU are 6 years old so I think it's time to upgrade.

Surely you're better off waiting until the next console release, it's not that far away and you'll know what specs to get.

Well I'm not upgrading my video card since that's only 3 years old (man, think back 5 years and imagine yourself saying "my video card is only 3 years old"). I'm assuming the next generation of consoles will either use a CPU somewhere in the vicinity performance-wise of the Core i7 series, or something fancy specially designed like the weird triple-core processor of the PS3. I've been having freezing/stuttering problems with this PC for years, though it had been working pretty well for a while, so I'm well tired of dealing with its bullshit by now. I don't really feel like waiting another year or whatever

Meanwhile I've been experiencing a hilarious series of boot messages from my computer saying "OMG OMG STOP OVERCLOCKING IT AM TOO HOT".

I'm not overclocking, it's just...summer. Time to hoover the computer fans, methinks!

(also, post number 6000?? Jesus this is a long thread)

On topic, I've been playing "Avadon, the black fortress", which is actually surprisingly fun. More later.
