Well, i finally got around to finishing Nicollete Duclare...

Post by _Alex_ »

I've been busy doing all manner of stuff, but with Darren's recent animation related breakthrough, and the apparent impending release of HDTP, i figured i'd just give the ol' girl her feet (a part i never got round to finishing when i started skinning / modelling her almost a year ago)

Along the way i did some texture cleanups, and fixed some of her facial proportions.

OH AND DANGLY EARINGS.

*ahem*

Hope you like. If all goes planned, we may actually get to see her new and improved self dancing in that Parisian Techno club AND WONT THAT BE HAWT.

That is AWESOME beyond belief! And to prove just how awesome it is - check out the original for comparison!

Wow that looks really good! Much better than the previous version. I hope this new tool can really help get the finished characters in game.

Here's the untweaked one. Never did notice the shoes were hidden ;-) (and a leg was missing). I can see the facial tweaks, and it makes a huge difference! Thanks! Also, the hair looks better. The new photo is darker, but that's helpful since Nicolette is seen most in dark rooms (the Chateau, the Club).

That is way more darker and truer to the CP style. Excellent work man.

Does anyone think she is a little on the olive side?

I know the french have a bit more colour in their skin then the typical anglo-saxon...but, it seems a little bit of an excess.

Or is it just the light?

Other then that she looks well down, much improved, well done!

I just wish Deus Ex didn't have such crap mesh lighting. But even then, such a high-poly model will undoubtedly look a hell of a lot better lit than the old characters.

Wow, shiny. It's like Truform. Incredibly complex hair for a DX character as well.

Wow, I wasn't sure I liked her "new" face (in comparison to the older HDTP shot) until you put up that nice side view. I thought it looked somewhat elongated, but never mind that! It looks great, good job!
