 A unique error
I'm running the patched GOTY edition, it's direct2drive, I installed it, opengl render and shifter. the latter 2 work fine, but if i install the former i get this error:http://img213.imageshack.us/my.php?image=errorkk0.jpg I don't know if there's a fix for this error, but I really want to run the mod. any help would be appreciated. I also added CachePath=..\Cache like it said I should. Any thoughts?

It reads beyond the end of a file, unfortunately it does not tell WHAT file. When do you get this error? When loading a savegame?

"it's direct2drive, I installed it, opengl render and shifter. the latter 2 work fine, but if i install the former..." doesn't make sense. So OpenGL and Shifter work fine, but direct2drive or Deus Ex GOTY does not.
My advice...I have no idea how Direct2Drive works. If you own Deus Ex now, but your copy isn't working, I think you can legitimately download a proper backup copy (moral advice, not necessarily legal advice in your country) and install that. Clear out all configuration files and reinstall. Online download services play around with the games, so mods can be broken with the nonstandard versions.

Wait, so what are you trying to run? HDTP with vanilla dx? Or HDTP with shifter? Coz shifter and HDTP are mutually incompatible (and shifter uses HDTP stuff if available anyway, making the mutual incompatibility irrelevant).
