A huge pet peeve I had with Deus Ex was that when you changed J.C. Denton's race his hands on the weapons stayed the same. It seems strange that an albino would have tanned hands all of the sudden

So a question I have is will HDTP have different colored hands for each race?

Well, at the moment we'd just be using my own hue/brightness/contrast adjusted versions of the hands, but the code's all there so if internal testers and clever texture peeps want to make better versions of weaponhandstex, that'd work too.

I had no idea until i read this post that you could change JC's appearance

In Deus Ex Invisible War, JC was (probably) white Caucasian. I don't know what DNA he has after all those augmentations...
The original JC supposed to be white with dark hair.

But anyway, even in I.W. you can make him real black. He only has a darker skin and a little bigger nose. He looks like he came from vacation on an island, or is mixed with Caucasian and some African facial characteristics.

Its something like the player creator in the Godfather game. You can make him look African, Asian, Pakistani, but he bill always look like Caucasian.

Maybe some one make some alternative race mods someday for the players who want have their custom JC.
