So HDTP in a magazine again (with a few others - TNM)
So HDTP is in another magazine, but they missed TNM
Okay so it looks crap because I dont have a scanner and only a crappy camera, but you get the idea
so yeah good for HDTP (even if it is a small article) but not so good for TNM

Everyone else featured has released something. TNM isn't out and it lacks a demo. That could be the reason it is not there.

Cool, nice find.
Surprised they didn't include Redsun.

Or Shifter... Isn't that one of the most popular mods ever created for DX?
Anyway, they're wrong about Burden of 80 proof as well. "Burden of 80 proof keeps the gameplay of Deus Ex". Well, er, no. It keeps the interface yes, and the gameplay mechanics. But Burden feels more like a classic point-and-click adventure - but then 3D. Which is what the guy who made it wanted it to feel, I believe.

Well it's not like the word "gameplay" is really that well defined. Burden is still first-person, still features open-ended challenges (the robot maze and the alien game come to mind) and is still about exploring a world and hoarding stuff.
And like Chris said, they appear to only feature released mods, which is fine. It's just terrible timing as they're now less likely to put TNM in their magazine when we actually release (since they recently featured a bunch of other DX mods).

At least TNM is bigger than all the other mods combined (except maybe DDL's mod, when do we get more info on that anyway?).

Re: So HDTP in a magazine again (with a few others - TNM)
Depends how you define bigger. DDL has done a crazy amount of work for one guy, but TNM has had like a million people working on it over the years. And also DDL is British: He drinks too much to ever finish his mod
What magazine is this anyway, Hashi?

Re: So HDTP in a magazine again (with a few others - TNM)
My guess: PC PowerPlay
http://www.pcpowerplay.com.au/games/index.php
Why?
1. Hashi suggested it in the 'magazines to bombard with propaganda' thread.
2. Hashi implied he is from Australia by saying that the economy does not affect him as he dances in celebration of random days of the year with his random backwards tribe in the wilderness
3. The name 'Alistair Roche' seems only to occur in Australia, according to google
4. The name in the bottom left of the page reads PC something, using my awesome image enhancement tools and wild imagination, it might just spell PC PowerPlay
I rest my case.

Fabulous!
You think we should actually release this bastard then?
@Jonas - dude seriously - TNM is so fooking awesome it'll blow every mod EVER made for Deus Ex way outta the water. I have no doubt about it.

I will be highly amused if it turns out you really dislike the mod upon actually playing itmetche_steele wrote:TNM is so fooking awesome it'll blow every mod EVER made for Deus Ex way outta the water. I have no doubt about it.

Re: So HDTP in a magazine again (with a few others - TNM)
Honestly - I today asked my team if we should just sod it and release everything now (give it a test before hand obviously) and then just patch the bastard if we ever get round to it. A win-win solution because I can't do this anymore. My life is moving swiftly in another direction for the time being.Jonas wrote:So when are you guys releasing, anyway?

If HDTP is not your life, you fail at modding.
