Dude - have you not been reading up lately?
Signs that we are not dead:
1. we have an active forum
2. i've posted infrequent news on the hdtp blog
3. we've just done an interview
4. our gallery on moddb.com was updated a while back with a couple of new images.
The 2006 version was the demo. It was tiny. Like 17MB tiny. We have been working hard since then to deliver the final product.

The answer is yes, HDTP is completely dead. As is TNM and New Vision. Now go away.

ARRRGGG - Look I really don't mind people asking questions but please - i'm getting far too old and far too grumpy to be arsed, with quite frankly, rediculous questions like this.
At least make sure that your comment in the first place has some credibility to it?

Relax, Metz. Sit back and leave the grumpiness and the sarcasm to us

Writing credits is always my favourite part of any project.
That's because I'm very self-centered.

There should be a counter on the front page:
The project's vividness has not been questioned for [ONE] day(s)

I've been following this mod (along with a hanfful of others) for a couple of years now. I've never been under the impression that it is a speedy endeavour. When a mod team is comprised of people from different parts of the world, all working on it during the stolen hours around their day jobs, family and social responsibilities (and not getting paid for it, either), I don't know what else people expect.
I think that, when it comes to games (and modding by extension) people are so used to being saturated with new screenshots and press releases every other week that they get tetchy when they have to be patient for something. You used to have to wait for everything - I waited years for Half-Life with only a few screenshots in a magazine to keep me baited

Oh absolutely - and before the internets, magazines were the only source of game news. I used to get excited when CVG (I think that's what it was called back then - went thru' several name changes over the years) went on the stands. Precious times

Perhaps it is dead. Don't get me wrong, I know it's still moving, but maybe when it is finished it will make your game look fantastic and eat your brains.
No one member is the whole of the project, everyone, metche included, is a part of the greater whole. Would the parts of a zombie really know that the thing they were parts of had become a zombie?
