RARE - JC Denton Short Jacket PS2 Version picture

Post by Mr_Cyberpunk »

I found this included with my copy of Metal Gear Solid 2: Sons Of Liberty. However you can't get this anymore because they have since released another version of the game.

Extra note: This picture was found as a snippet from PS2 Australia magazine included with MGS2. It may just be a situation that the PAL version has the model encoded somewhere?? dunno.

So he wasn't like that in the actual PS2 game?

I am bumping this because I actually have something to contribute.

Information! And personal experience.

I have seen that "Short jacket-ed" version of JC before. On the PC. It was some kind of error, which I acertained to be this: any of the two dimensional parts of the model that went away from the main body (bottom of the coat, along with the collar of both JC's and Jock's jackets) was invisible. I think some chairs and booze were invisible too. It was the coats that made it stick in my memory.

Maybe that's what was happening during that screenshot.

That's a weird error, but it'd be even weirder if they used a screenshot with a huge graphical glitch as promo material.

And I just noticed his shades are missing too.

It's not that 'rare'. It has been on www.deusexgaming.com for quite a while now.
Better quality picture.

*Blink*
He doesn't have his shades on. That's what looked so weird to me. I still had mine on when I got the error... Or did I? Either way, the eyes looked better, as I could see them up close, notice the blue.

"However you can't get this anymore because they have since released another version of the game." suggests that you meant it was a rare find to see him without his shades and long coat.
