Well think of it like this... Bashing the crap out of a guy without a stance would result in you falling flat on your arse if the guy counter attacked you.
I think that the people in Deus Ex would at least have some form of cqc training (ie. Martial Arts, Melee and Stealth). It is a common practice in most government agencies. Now given that JC cant fist fight, martial arts is hereby pointless. I know TNM has H2H combat, but we dont want to change the gameplay here..
I definately think it is necesary to give beleivable characters this sense of being Highly trained killing machines, which every character in Deus Ex that holds a gun appears to be.
