Cleaner bot and credit chit

Post by Shock45100 »

Sorry, I know I already posted in the same hour, but I just realized something.

The cleaner bot in the game shouldn't be so large (tall). Even the cleaning bots we have in the present (the Roomba and such) are rather flat.

The credit chits are too thick. If they really function as if they were dollar bills, they would be thin as credit cards. It would be even better if you could transfer credits from chit to chit. Say JC only had one chit to hold all his money. Then when he interacts with another chit to transfer the money, a log message should appear saying so and so chits have been tranferred to his chit, and instead of picking up the chit he interacted with, it would stay where it was, now just a valueless piece of plastic. This would explain why his inventory doen't get so full of chits.

Yeah, that's nice, go away.

The purpose of HDTP is to improve the resolution/polycount of DX's objects, not to CHANGE them.

Look, Zylon, I know it can be annoying that people keep trying to get the HDTP guys to change aspects of the game unrelated to graphics, but don't be rude. It's not like the DX community is bristling these days, and it's not gonna help if the few fans we have keep scaring new potential fans away ;)

So Shock: Welcome to the board! But I'm afraid your suggestions in this thread are somewhat outside of the scope of the High-Definition Texture Package

Hello Shock!

Please ignore zylon....

We have a beautiful new model/texture of the credit chit - looks very sharp indeed. We are also going to be remodelling the cleanerbot :) However thats as far as this project goes!

Many thanks for your suggestions!

That sounds so funny, like: "Welcome in, ignore the smell"

On the bright side, I'm not an avatar-attention-whore like you apparently are.

An arguement is like a crack in a dam. Stop it before it goes further.

If the power were within me, I would lock this thread.

Since this thread could get way out of hand, I went ahead with Darkshade's suggestion and locked it.

Move along, nothing more to see here...
