So, in my rage of "I want to play Fable"-ness, I bought a 6600.

Finally, it works! Well, at least the opening credits... Now it crashes when starting a new game :D

... :?

I'll be re-installing soon...

Well, I didn't get Fable, I got Civ4. So now I'm gonna order AoE3 and Fable from Play.com, bless their discount prices.

Civ4 is apparently quite good as well :)

I hope so, since I didn't like Civ3. Luckily, Civ4 has been made by Sid Meier. And I liked Civ2, Alpha Centauri and Pirates, so I have good hope :)

My memory was corrupt btw, replaced it, and reinstalling windows :D

Is Civilization 4 good? Well... it is currently 5 am, and I started playing around midnight. And... now I really gotta be off to bed. Bloody... heck...

8) Nice :D

After re-installing Fable ran just fine, so if I will be off for a few days, you know why ;)

Civ IV is a beautiful game. If you liked any of the other Civ games then you'll like it (so i've heard). Civ IV was the first one that i've played from the series and it didn't take me long to get to grips with.

Anyone who is pondering whether to get it or not, I say go for it!

I'm back in my little student's room. Now without fast computers and strong GPU's. So I'll be lurking here then, until New Year's Eve swings around :D

Does anyone have any experience with AoE 3? I'm not really into 3d RTS so I have my doubts.

Well, I'm getting it some time this week (ordered it in from England), so I'll tell you what I think when I've tried it out. Or, I'll post it in my blog.

Any information? Anyway I just finished Fable:TLC, quite short I must say, but very entertaining... Also I got civ4 yesterday and it kicks ass!

Nah, AoE3 wasn't shipped until the 29th, and it has a 3-5 day delivery time. I count on it arriving tomorrow. But don't let me hold you back if you want to buy it, I'm sure you can find some actual qualified review resources on the Internet (if you look hard enough). If not, just trust PC Gamer UK, they usually get it right: They gave AoE3 a whopping 87%.
Ticks all the RTS boxes with style

I'll be playing Civ4 until I am done, when I'm done with Civ, AoE will probably be on sale for around 15 ? instead of 50 (I went overbudget when I bought both Civ and Fable :( )

Civ 4 is only fun in multiplayer, otherwise its just exausting...

X3 is increadibly slow and MASSIVE! the game takes too long but it is by far one of the best made games i've ever seen now that it has been patched 3 times already. :P
