I'd consider that an error. All the brand names in DX are ficticious-- we shouldn't see real-world brands in the vending machines.

Besides that remaking a texture for the inside of the vending machine with fictional stuff would be tedius and overly long for something that's a fairly small deal, there are only two food products in DX. Candy bar, and soy. What's gonna fill the rest of that machine. Deus ex is set in our world, just 50 years or so in the future, so it's not impossible for a vending machine to have M&M's in it. They faded it out so the brand names aren't really obvious, that's fine enough.

TBH I'm amazed at how recognizable the packages are. When you can't get over 256x256, stretching out over that machine... that's rather impressive.
