Assuming you HAVE an HDTPanim.utx (which you should have, since you can happily use HDTP), that should have fixed it.

Do you still get the same log message?

Ok, may be you should write this "so relax: HDTP is not dead and not in danger of dying any time soon." on your web page which is a face of mod?

You know, Jonas, you should find some way of incrementing the number in the rules every time someone asks if HDTP is dead.
All is well. We are not like the others.

Never had this Problem before, but all of a sudden I'm getting this error when I try to run Deus Ex from the HDTP Shortcut;

Tried various fixes but I get the same error with everything. HDTP works fine with TNM though...

Try a DX reinstall (I know, I know), coz sometimes DX just plain decides "it's time to fuck up".

It works now, thanks DDL. Tho I think it was probably me screwing up somewhere when messing with files, heh.

Are you sure you're looking at the right textures? We do models and model textures, not level textures (that's New Vision).

Assuming you're running it from the HDTP shortcut, you should immediately notice the crates on the liberty island docks are actual crates, rather than cubes with crate textures on.

Well from what I understand the models for JC and Paul Denton were supposed to have lost the mittens hands, however in my game they still have it (I use shifter and did what it said with that file), but its the same no matter how I run it.

The models for Paul and J.C. haven't been released yet. They are not included in the demo.

Hi! I have problems with the Ultra HDTP pack, Helder Pinto version

I have the 1112 version, i have the nocd patch, i installed the original hdtp pack etc.

But when i try to change the video card to the 3d9 support, the game will not launch after that. Instead i will find this error:
(see the attached file, i dont know how to upload img directly)

I must also say that my computer is a notebook from 2006. Maybe thats a little old, i dont know. Maybe it wont run with such videocard.

Thanks for any help you may give.

PS: sorry for my bad english :-)

Well DX9 is from 2004, so it really depends what specific video card you have in that laptop. Try checking your display settings to see if it doesn't tell you the name and model of the card.

Btw, can you give me the exact and right steps to install Ultra High HTDP correctly?

I think that in some sites (like helder pinto) mislead a little the things we need to do. I dont blame then of course, i must be thankful, but in fact many of the problems arise because of some misleading step. I would appreciate some insights on this matter.

Also, see again my problem please, and tell me if the error that i showed is caused by video card (i dont know if you can say me that, just by reading the attachment).

thanks a lot :-)
