Testers Wanted: UI Scaling Fix

Post by NVShacker »

As Jonas mentioned in a TNM news post comment or something awhile back, I've been working on and off on fixing the hud scaling up and looking hideous at high resolutions and today I finally got it working! Before I do a potentially buggy full out release of the fix package though, I'd like to get a few volunteers to test.

If interested just post in this thread, I'll PM people with details.

I've been looking for a solution to this very problem for a while now (as I'm sure many have) so I'd definitely be willing to help you test this.

I'd like to test it, too! This would be an plain awesome fix, NVShacker! We had lots of questions regarding this issue on our German forums.

I'd like to test it out as well. I'm tired of being stuck at 1280x720 because of the HUD scaling.

Final PM sent. Hopefully there aren't a ton of issues that crop up in testing so I can release soon.

Thanks, everyone, for testing this out.

I would love to test this tool. I remember spending hours scouring the web searching for a way to scale the HUD correctly.

Please let my 1680x1050 finally shine through.

Please.

Pretty please.

Just so everyone knows. Go to the misc files section of the nameless mods website.

The fix is there.

AND IT WORKS

GREAT work ... should be getting a widescreen monitor soon, looking forward to playing Deus Ex on it with this patch.
