Someday maybe. I'm hoping that once the worst offenders are fixed, once the engine and models and textures are sorted out, the maps will get some bugfixes, maybe added details, and probably some reworking. Then the NSF could have their own whiteboard.

I remember when the whiteboard was redone, and the remake had UNATCO-specific stuff. I think we've all stared at the whiteboard in the UNATCO meeting-room.

Interesting thread. The info on how new textures are created over the old ones to fit, or by extrapolating as much detail from the originals, really interesting.

Out of curiosity, where is this NSF whiteboard?

I'm not sure. I was going from the other posts. I may have seen it at the MJ12 hangar, but that isn't the NSF. I remember the whiteboard duplicated in other places being an issue when redoing the texture. It was the thread where the texture artist (snipamaster/DaveW?) was eventually adding funny stuff to it to bug everyone ;-)

It was a theoretical NSF whiteboard :) Stuff like noticeboards and stuff are used generically around the maps.

LOL, "Also, please stop drawing cocks on the whiteboard". I'm imagining the elderly Mr. Manderly saying that in his authoritative yet grandfather-like tone. It matches his style too, to just throw that out there. I believe he swore at one point in the game.

For some reason I went to edit your post rather than make my own :?

But it's an in-ward mod reference :)

The notice board is brilliant! Don' t know about the white board though, it looks like the writing's just been done in Paint.

I can't stand tablets, as far as I'm concerned the mouse and keyboard is the unrivalled method of input for almost all stuff (except pen-and-paper style drawing).

I think I could've come to like my tablet, but it really doesn't work well with two monitors.

I have a laptop/tablet for school. Its just a shame that character recognition is so crappy still. Anyway I enjoy it and when I feel like drawing something it is great fun.
