Haven't played much this month due to the above. Gonna start for real on my master's thesis now, hopefully that'll leave more room for gaming.
I was gonna give it a play but my internet is running slowly and my computer is oddly enough not letting me download the Unity Web Addon. I'll try again later. :giggle:

I've been trying to ply Mass Effect 2, but my computer gives out horrendous bleeping sounds whenever I try to play. I think the CPU is overheating, or I have dust on one of the fans, but the side of my case is off

I'm going to take Broken Dimensions and change its levels in a couple of different ways to test how those changes impact the player's perception of movement within the game. Hopefully I can get something useful out of that :)

Meanwhile, the game is up on IndieDB and Desura too now:

Sounds interesting. More fun than my master thesis I'm afraid :D

I recommend you don't play it the web version, download the client version for PC and Mac. Doesn't require the Unity plugin and looks and plays significantly better.

Right no i am playing Doom 2 and it is frustratingly hard at places, more so than the first Doom. Too bad you don't see many brainless shooters like these anymore, more Doom less CoD.

I will probably try to do some crazy WADs too if i ever learn how to map for this game.

But i have already finished Deus Ex so many times i pretty much know the place of every single texture, and besides sometimes you just need a shotgun and some imps to entertain you.

Speaking of shooters, I've got a Crysis 2 disc looking accusingly at me. It will have to wait until I've finished DA: O, then I'll give it a whirl before venturing into Awakenings.

Played it. Pretty cool. When I solved the puzzles though it often felt more like I cheated the game rather than solved it properly. Loved the chicken costume.

Also: Assassins Creed 2: Brotherhood.
It's like AC2 but with even more poorly implemented gameplay elements... yay for not removing stuff I guess?

Dragon Age: Origins is done. I won't say I beat the game because my character was responsible for the death of two children and fell-out with a friend, and that doesn't seem like a victory. One not to celebrate anyway. :(
