Hello. There's something I'd quite like to say.
The thing being thank you, and well done.
I've lurked around the forums for a fair while, and today I thought I might as well say what I've wanted to say for a fair while.
I know that making a gigantic mod like HDTP is going to take boat-loads of work, and that everyone here has their own lives outside the internet. The amount of knowledge, practice and patience must also be phenominal dealing with a game as old as Deus Ex and bringing it up to today's standard, and I'm sure you must be of a much higher ability and level of skill.
Additionally, I understand (due to reading the posts of the patient, logical and/or informed) that HDTP is reaching it's completion, and I just wanted to say that I thoroughly look forward to playing Deus Ex again without JC Denton's mitten hands. Everything I've seen looks fantastic, and I'm quite excited by it. Frankly, if it were a choice between Deus Ex 3 and HDTP, well, bugger DX3.
Finally, haters gonna hate. There are always those who complain, and I would love to see the looks on their faces when HDTP is released. Please, just keep doing what you're doing, and let everyone else whistle.
I don't know if there's a special thread for this, but dammit there should be a praise thread. I know there will be when the mod comes out.
So, I actually just wanted to say thank you.
-P

You will literally rip out your own asshole and throw it on the wall and then dive through it into another DIMENSION when you see how awesome HDTP is!
Thanks for the support bro. *fist*

Between HDTP, New Vision, and 2027 all possibly coming out around the same time I'd say we are extremely lucky, its as if they are working in unison. (Revision as well of course) I'm thankful for the developers hard work to bring us back to the game we will never stop playing. And thats incredible, Portal is a great game

It's guys like you Agent Pointless that make the Internet, a better place. That's disturbing and impressive in all the wrong ways. But well played.

What a shame... Pointless indeed. Hope you realize that kissing their asses or sucking cocks won't get you into their private beta-testing or w/e the fuck their circle-jerk is up to nowandays. HDTP isn't coming out, they don't care and neither should we. Go enjoy 'DX3' as you call it (even though its a prequel but w/e). Its got Steam DRM and has in-game billboard advertising, the levels aren't as open as the original, HOWEVER the quality of everything else really does make it worth a playthrough, by any means. As for me, I'll at least be somewhat nicer than most. Send them a money order for $5. Original Cost: $60 Steam DRM requirement annoyance : deduct $30 Billboard advertising/invasive spyware: deduct $25 Total: $5 Maybe if I send them that in an invoice they might get the picture. Or they might end up like the 'UbiDerps'.

Congratulations! It's a beautiful sunny summer day outside, and your IP is permanently banned for being the 1000th asshole troll to talk shit about HDTP. Go outside and get a life.

Ahh, there is a God..... What a shame a heathen had to take the name of JC Denton in vain. Anything with JC Denton in it is cool. HDTP just happens to be awesome. -P
