Trying to run HDTP demo from the shortcut and get the following error message:

Critical error! Failed to enter DX,dx:
History: UGameEngine::Init <- XGameEngineExt::Init
DDeusExGameEngine::Init <- InitEngine

please help!

I have already used HDTP the other day, I uninstalled it, installed again, and now It wont run. I am attempting to use it in combination with new vision on Win7. (same as the other day when it worked)

Are you launching the game from the shortcut HDTP provides? It won't run if you try launching with the exe. Ooops, just read that you are. There was a thread here somewhere, I'll have a look.

The only thing I can think of is I am installing it in the wrong folder. I tried C: \Deus ex & also C: \Deus Ex\System.
I dont get it though, once I uninstall HDTP and run deus ex it works fine. So it can only be that I am installing it in the wrong folder?
Because it worked the other day....
