So simple but Filben's shack shows the difference NV and HDTP have on the game.

Re: It's done.
NV yes, HDTP, no without HDTP model somewhere, but there is a big difference when you see both.So simple but Filben's shack shows the difference NV and HDTP have on the game.
Found a couple of more textures that need redoing. First the blue sign that is found on some Paris maps:
And this one on UCs (this was from the UC in Vandenburg Labs):

They are HDTP barrels, but I get your point.
Too bad I couldn't be a better screenshot taker.

Re: It's done.
Kentie's dx10 renderer, HDTP & New Vision make Deus Ex look astonishing.
Thanks again to all involved, and a happy new year.

One more texture I could see needs redone on 14_OceanLab_UC map as its all over the walls there:

Re: It's done.
You realise that when you say it needs to be redone..it's not going to be? New Vision 1.5 was final, I'm done with the project now.
Re: It's done.
Well I just thought, with only a few textures that were not done it wouldn't be right to call it done when they were left undone and with only 3 I mentioned plus the Liberty Island sign, it wouldn't take long to do, then it would be done and finished, not that I am ungrateful for all the work you have done, especially on an old game like this.
But if you really don't want to fix those, then forget I mentioned it, I know its an old game and not many play it anymore, so it probably doesn't matter if these few are done or not.

Re: It's done.
Well, it would be a shame to leave it uncorrected when feedback was given.
There is also that "iisland" typo that is rather annoying... I guess there might be someone who could do something about it? Perhaps daveyboy who's been very helpful with the HDTP project?
Said that, we are all very grateful for your job, DaveW!

Re: It's done.
I said it was done when I released it. The title of this topic is even 'It's done' - the time for these requests was in the thread leading up to the release. I've released the basic files required if someone wanted to do the rest of the textures (about 5-10%) but I'm not going to.

Re: It's done.
Have you already mentioned what changes you made to the maps specifically?
And if so, where? I may have just missed it.
I only ask because I'm curious.

The real trouble with reality is that there's no background music.
Re: It's done.
Don't think I did, no. I fixed alignment issues in Hong Kong Street (but mostly included it because of the bug fixes, e.g the statue door in Maggie Chow's place), changed the floor texture in the Lucky Money club, changed the AI texture in Everett's house, and included the fixed 'Return to NY' map so the music plays. Also updated a fucktonne of alignment issues in the Area 51 and the ending maps. I think that's all.
Re: It's done.
I guess we should see if there is anyone who could step up and come with these last fixes. I don't think we'll ever see the HD version of those 5-10% textures left but it would indeed be nice to get rid of the few bugs that exist in 1.5.Morpheus wrote:Well I just thought, with only a few textures that were not done it wouldn't be right to call it done when they were left undone and with only 3 I mentioned plus the Liberty Island sign, it wouldn't take long to do, then it would be done and finished, not that I am ungrateful for all the work you have done, especially on an old game like this.

Which few bugs are those? I only know of one.
Re: It's done.
I was referring to those images post by Morpheus where he says a few textures need small corrections and the liberty island sign typo.DaveW wrote:Which few bugs are those? I only know of one.
But yes, very minor gripes in an otherwise splendid achievement.

Hi,
What does the SDK available on ModDB do and how do I use it? Using it would be preferable to downloading 1.2 GB of data for five hours...
Alternately, is there a chance of getting New Vision cut into smaller packages?
